Dr. Linda Neelly has been on the education and music faculty at the University of Connecticut since 2001. Prior to her appointment to UConn, she has served in numerous positions with cultural organizations including Education Director of the Metropolitan Opera Early Childhood Programs and music consultant for the Kennedy Center for the Arts, the Levine School of Music, and the Washington National Opera. She has served on the faculty of the Eastman School of Music and Community Education Division at the Eastman School of Music and consultant for school districts including New York City, Denver, White Plains NY, Tulsa, Houston, and Nashville. She has served as Primary Content Advisor for the Sesame Street Music Works initiative and consultant for Children's Television Network. As solo performer, Dr. Neelly has been featured in symphony, chamber, opera, and theatre productions including the Atlanta Symphony, Memphis Opera, Rochester Opera, and Eastman Musica Nova. She is an author of numerous articles and books and has made presentations at state, national, and international conventions including United States Congressional Education Caucus, Kindermusik International, International Society for Music Education, and National Association for the Education of Young Children.

I am thrilled to be associated with the Jorgensen Center for Performing Arts. We look forward to new opportunities that extend and promote artistic and educational collaborations with the community.
