These timeless classics, with their urbane lyrics and memorable melodies from the 1920s to the ‘60s, were introduced by music greats like Hoagie Carmichael, George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Jerome Kern, and Richard Rogers and became part of the country’s musical vocabulary.
